You had plans. A baby was not one of them. We can help. Think you might be pregnant? Looking for help? That’s why we’re here. Parenting? Adoption? Abortion?

Compassion Care Center has been helping women in crisis since 1999. Some of our staff have been where you are. We understand that you need a place to process, to think through all of your options, and to feel safe sharing your thoughts. If your pregnancy test is positive, you have a decision to make. Join us for Rooted & Blooming, Compassion Care Center’s 2026 Annual Fundraising Event, as we celebrate growth, faith, and the lives being impacted through this ministry. This year is especially meaningful as we reflect on the opening of Bloom in February 2025, expanding our reach to serve more women and families in our community.

📅 Dates: Monday, February 23 & Tuesday, February 24
🕡 Time: 6:30–8:30 PM
📍 Location: Peace Haven Baptist Church (Gym)

🍽 Dinner Options:
• Monday (Casual Night): BBQ or ribs, baked beans, and slaw
• Tuesday (Formal Night): Prime rib or chicken, potatoes, and salad

👶 Childcare will be provided both nights, making it easier for parents to attend.

⚠️ Seating is limited each night, so please RSVP early to reserve your preferred evening.

With the opening of Bloom, our ministry has grown—bringing increased opportunities to provide medical services, resources, education, and Christ-centered hope, along with greater operational needs. Your participation helps sustain both Compassion Care Center and Bloom, as we continue serving families with care and compassion.

If we get winter weather this weekend, we are in need of someone who can scrape/plow the driveways at Compassion Care Center and Bloom. In the past, we’ve had to close until things melted, but with the forecast, that could mean being closed for much of next week.

Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his unwavering commitment to dignity, justice, and love for all people.

Dr. King reminded us that “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” Every day, our work answers that question by serving women, families, and unborn children with compassion, respect, and care.

Today we recognize Sanctity of Human Life Sunday—a reminder that every life is created with purpose, dignity, and immeasurable value.

Facing an unexpected pregnancy can feel overwhelming. In moments of uncertainty, many young women struggle to see a hopeful future. Jesus tells us that “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy,” but God’s desire is abundant life for every person. We believe no one should have to walk this journey alone.

At Bloom and Compassion Care Center, we exist to offer truth, hope, and compassionate support so families can choose life and experience the fullness God intends. When a woman walks through our doors, she is met with care, dignity, and understanding during one of the most vulnerable moments of her life.

January is Slavery & Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

Human trafficking does not discriminate. It impacts people of every race, socioeconomic class, religion, gender, and ability. Because of this, it isn’t someone else’s issue—it affects every community, including our own.

We believe awareness and prevention begin locally. By educating our community, supporting vulnerable individuals, and partnering with trusted organizations, we can help protect those at risk and offer hope to survivors.
