What are you pretending not to know?

A friend asked me this when I was listing excuses for why I felt stuck.
It cut me to the core, because I knew the answer immediately.

The truth? Most of us already know what we need to do.
We’re just avoiding it because it’s uncomfortable.

That question forced me to face the hard work I’d been dodging.
It wasn’t s*xy, it wasn’t new — but it was exactly what I needed.

Since then, I’ve been asking myself that same question almost daily.
And I’ve started asking other men too.
The answers are usually the same:

We already know what to do.
We just pretend we don’t, so we can chase the easy stuff instead.

Deep down, you know what needs to change.
And once someone calls your bluff… you can’t un-hear it.

If you need someone like that in your life — someone who won’t let you BS yourself — that’s literally what I do.

4:15 AM. Most people hit snooze. I get up.

It hasn’t always been like this. I used to stay up too late, milk every last minute of sleep, and drift into the day. But over time, I realized the power of owning my mornings.

Getting up early forced me to build discipline in everything else — prepping my food, laying out clothes, even cleaning my house. Instead of wasting time, I invested it.

Has it cost me some late nights? Sure. Do my friends laugh when I pass out at gatherings? Definitely.

Was it worth it? 100%.

Discipline in the morning makes everything possible — physically, spiritually, mentally.
