🎃 Be Allergy-Aware This Halloween! 🎃
For kids with food allergies, Halloween can be tricky — but with a little extra care, it can still be tons of fun!

Here are a few food allergy safety tips from Community Health of Central Washington:
-Check every candy label — common allergens like nuts, dairy, and soy are often hidden in treats
-Avoid unlabeled or homemade goodies
-Teach kids to wait until an adult checks their candy
-Look for homes with a Teal Pumpkin — they offer non-food treats for kids with allergies!

Want to join the movement?
Place a teal pumpkin outside your home to support kids with allergies.
Let’s make Halloween inclusive, safe, and fun for all kids!

🎃💙 Teal Pumpkin Project: Making Halloween Safer for All Kids! 💙🎃

At Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW), we believe every child deserves to enjoy the magic of Halloween, including those with food allergies or dietary restrictions.

That’s why we’re proud to support the Teal Pumpkin Project — a nationwide movement to make Halloween more inclusive and safe for all.

What does a teal pumpkin mean?
It lets trick-or-treaters know you offer non-food treats like small toys, glow sticks, stickers, or pencils — so kids with food allergies can celebrate safely.

✨ How YOU can join CHCW in supporting this cause:
-Place a teal pumpkin outside your home
-Provide allergy-friendly, non-food goodies
-Talk to your kids about food allergies
-Share this message with friends and neighbors

Let’s work together to create a Halloween that’s safe, fun, and welcoming for every child.
