We’re getting there!
Started at 0 in December 2020 and look where we’re at now!
It’s such an honor to be trusted with the care of each individual and family.
In an effort to keep our practice individualized and accessible we’ll hold general enrollments when we reach that 500 patient mark and move to a waitlist.

So, if you’ve considered joining in the past, what are you waiting for? Now is the time!!

Ryder says we should do a swag giveaway for that 500th patient. She may be right, she hasn’t led me astray yet!

Happy National Doctor’s Day to all the hard working physicians taking care of our families & friends.

Did you ever wonder how this national days of recognition began? Probably not 😂, but I did, so here’s our history lesson of the day.

“On March 30th, 1933 Eudora Brown Almond, wife of Dr. Cha Almond, commemorated the anniversary of the first use of anesthesia back in 1842.

From 1933 to 1958, the Women’s Auxiliary of the Southern Medical Association kept the tradition of Doctors’ Day alive by mailing cards to physicians and by placing flowers on the graves of the deceased doctors every March 30th.

In 1958 the United States House of Representatives adopted a resolution to commemorate March 30th as Doctors’ Day.

In 1991, President George Bush signed a resolution proclaiming March 30th as the first National Doctors’ Day.”

Healthcare can be a tough system to work in right now so for all my friends & colleagues fighting the good fight, THANK YOU!

Reminder! Ryder & Dr Moyer will be out of town & the office will be closed Thursday & Friday this week for Thanksgiving!
If you’re traveling, be safe! If it was up to Ryder, all car transportation would be banned. Always. She’s not a fan 😂

Home Family Medicine will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.

We will return to normal business hours Tuesday, September 3rd at 9am.

As always, Dr Moyer is available to her established patients even on federal holidays when the office is closed to the public! All patients have her direct phone number for any urgent medical needs after hours.

Can you call your doctor directly & save an ER visit on federal holidays? If not, why haven’t you called to experience the Home Family Medicine difference yet?
