How about some before and after photos to start the month out on the right…..Foot?

This is an all too common case of an 84-year-old woman, who is widowed and has no children. She kept her toenails hidden from the assisted living staff, as they had grown excessively long, causing her shame. By the time the staff noticed, her toenails had become severely elongated and painful. She underwent a 1.5-hour treatment to address the issue, as she was unable to tolerate much stress.

The after photos clearly show the positive results of the treatment, providing her with much-needed relief.

I can’t stress enough the importance of checking our loved ones from their head to toes!

Did you know that the American Diabetes Association advises against foot soaking for people with diabetes? While it may seem like a good way to relax or relieve discomfort, soaking your feet can increase the risk of skin damage, infection, and poor circulation. Diabetics are particularly vulnerable to foot complications, so it’s essential to take extra care.

According to the ADA, “Soaking your feet in hot water can cause burns or skin damage, and it can also dry out your skin, leading to cracks or sores that could become infected.” 🦶
