Ensuring families in need receive the support they deserve. In addition, help finding healthcare and other community services is available.

Our Memorial WIC office is located just behind Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington. This location, close to the hospital, is convenient for caregivers and expecting mothers in the Yakima area to get help with securing healthy and nutritious food for their children and themselves. The WIC program also offers benefits including: growth tracking to make sure your children are growing at a healthy rate, nutrition education and advice for caregivers and expecting mothers, and breastfeeding help. Specialized breastfeeding peers are also available for after-hours assistance with participant breastfeeding questions.

The Yakima Influenza Epidemiology of Livestock and Dairy workers (YIELD) Study team at the University of Washington is seeking volunteers who spend time with animals and have respiratory symptoms or a suspected respiratory infection to join the YIELD study.
