The Eye Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated surgical team in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center specializing in eye surgery. This exciting opportunity offers great work-life balance, no nights, weekends, or on call shifts. There is a potential for career advancement into a full time Head Nurse /Administrative Nurse with full benefits and increased pay. The ophthalmic RN is responsible for providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care throughout all phases of the surgical experience - from preoperative assessment through recovery and discharge. Our team performs 8-14 eye surgeries each day, Monday - Thursday.

As part of our dedicated surgical team, the RN will be assigned to one of the following roles:
Pre-operative/Admission Nurse: Admit and prepare patients for surgery, complete preoperative assessments and verify readiness.
Sedation/Monitoring Nurse: Administer and monitor mild to moderate sedation, ensure patient safety and comfort.
OR Circulating Nurse: Coordinate surgical care, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgeon and surgical team.
Recovery Nurse: Monitor patients postoperatively, provide discharge instructions, ensure safe transition to home.

The Eye Center is looking for a part time RN for our ophthalmology surgery center. We perform 10-14 surgeries each day, Monday-Thursday, 6am-3pm most days. No call. Great work-life balance. This is an exciting opportunity to provide safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing eye surgery. RN’s are assigned to one of the following roles each day:

•Admit and prepare patients for eye surgery.
•Ensure safe administration and monitor patients with moderate sedation.
•Circulate in the OR ensuring patient safety.
•Recover patients and prepare for discharge home.

Today The Eye Center participated in the “Great Washington ShakeOut”, a state wide earthquake drill. We performed the “DROP, COVER, and HOLD ON” keeping our patients and staff safe. Safety is a priority at The Eye center.
