We hosted Yankton Camp Med this week with 200+ seventh graders 👏 They got to explore a bunch of healthcare careers and jump into hands-on activities all morning. Impressing seventh graders is no small feat, but these students were locked in. 😄

Big thanks to all of our partners for making it happen, as well as the South Dakota Department of Health for funding this statewide program.

This week, we had the opportunity to participate in the South Dakota HOSA State Leadership Conference!

We judged a competition, helped manage some events, connected with students at our career booth, and heard from inspiring speakers.

We’re grateful to have such a huge event like this for students across South Dakota -- over 1,000+ students attended! We appreciate all the hard work that South Dakota HOSA -Future Health Professionals puts into making it such a success. 👏

Today we piloted our Virtual Reality headsets with eighth graders and seniors at Platte-Geddes School District —and it was so much fun! Even Mr. Hunhoff joined in! 😄

This activity gives students a hands-on look at healthcare careers, and we’re excited to bring it to more rural schools across Southeast South Dakota this fall.
