Everything you know and loved about The Massage Room in 2025 is here to stay.

All services and pricing will remain the same.

Hours: Wednesday evenings fill up fast. Please book in advance!
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9:00-4:30 PM
Wednesday 12:00-7:00 PM
Friday 9:00-12:00 PM

Cancellation Policy
I charge a 100% appointment price fee for no show clients to protect my time and business. Cancellations will be allowed on the website up to 24 hours in advance of appointments. If you cannot make your appointment and have passed the 24 hour mark please reach out to me personally or at the salon to reschedule your appointment.

This Christmas season has been nothing short of special and I’m extremely grateful for each and every one of you! I will be closed December 24th-28th to spend time with family and will resume business hours December 29th.

To those of you that know me, hey again👋🏼 To those of you who don’t, I am Morgan and I’m the face behind The Massage Room! I get to see so many new and existing clients everyday in the studio but some of you don’t know who I am from behind a screen.

I have been doing massage therapy in Yankton for the past year and a half and have loved every second of it. I’m a Yankton native and knew it was the perfect community to open my business. I love Sunrise coffee, reading, yoga, a good crime documentary and of course all things massage therapy related.

My books are filling up quick and I’m taking a few extra days off the next few months to spend time with family so please pre-book if you’ve been wanting to get in before the end of the year! Stay tuned for BLACK FRIDAY deals coming next week. You don’t want to miss out 🤭

I know the Holidays are right around the corner and the world is expensive and I want to send a big THANK YOU to all who choose to support me despite that. I look forward to all of my appointments getting to help you with your physical health and wellbeing but I am also so grateful for those of you that like and share my posts. You all mean so much to a small business like mine!

Lymphatic Drainage 101

Lymphatic drainage massage is a very gentle massage designed to stimulate the lymphatic system. Unlike traditional massage that targets the muscles, lymphatic drainage is trying to eliminate buildup of lymphatic fluid that causes swelling and fullness in the body. As your therapist, I direct lymph fluid to move toward the lymph nodes where it can be filtered and processed out of your body

What it does:
Reduces swelling and fluid retention
Supports natural detoxification
Can help improve circulation and promote relaxation
Often used after surgery (when recommended by a provider), for lymphedema management or for general wellness

My most asked question is can this be done in combinations to deep tissue massage?
Not in the same session! Pressure is very light and soothing which helps avoid compressing lymph vessels. This is a completely different service from traditional massage that requires its own time to get the full therapeutic benefit.
