Anxiety is a mental health condition characterized by excessive worry, fear, and nervousness that can interfere with an individuals daily life.

Symptoms can include:
Excessive worry and thought rumination, having
difficulty concentrating, difficulty sleeping, and becoming easily irritable.

Physical symptoms can include headaches and stomach aches.

Untreated anxiety can lead to long-term problems. Having a mental health condition does not mean you are weak. It's important to seek help and take control of your mental health.

Has life been busy? Stop what you're doing. Turn the radio down, TV off, and sit in silence. Clear your mind. Feel your heart. Listen to your breathing. Take big breaths in through your nose, hold it, then slowly release out of your mouth. As you breathe out, imagine all the stress and tension leaving your body. Don't forget, you're important. You matter. Self care is critical to your mental health.

Taking care of yourself is important. Are you feeling overwhelmed? Anxious? On edge? Take a minute. Stop what you're doing. Just breathe. Go to a quiet place, shut your door, and take deep breaths. We can easily get overstimulated by our surroundings without realizing it. Although being around people can be fun, avoid the Negative Nancy's, it will drain your energy without you even realizing it!!
