Our Story
To expand your access to healthcare Chelsie Promes, CNP, FNP-BC, MSN with the help of her wonderful husband Jeremy, will be opening Quality Health Clinic, Prof. LLC in Springfield, SD located at 806 8th Street on February 12th, 2018. There will be a Yankton location, which is under construction at this time. The Yankton clinic will be located at 2001 Broadway Avenue and open in June, 2018 and operate as an extended hour urgent care facility.
Chelsie, a board-certified nurse practitioner received her nursing degree in 2011 from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska and worked in intensive care for 4 years while obtaining a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Clarkson College. She has been working as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Mount Marty College for the past 4 years, as well as, seeing patients in urgent care in Yankton.
So what is a nurse practitioner? Nurse practitioners (NPs) are the healthcare providers of choice for many patients across the world. NPs don’t just treat the illness, they treat the whole person, providing a unique approach of both nursing and medicine. They have advanced nursing degrees and board certification in their area of specialty. NPs bring a unique perspective to the care of individuals across the lifespan.
