Massage therapy is beneficial at any point in pregnancy as long as the client is comfortable and they have been cleared by their doctor!

If you are at risk for any complications during your pregnancy, your doctor or midwife may advice against massage. So, please, always ask your doctor before scheduling a massage!

While I am not certified in prenatal massage yet, I do still offer massage on pregnant clients.

Up to 20 weeks along, we can massage while laying on your back at a slightly elevated position.

We can also massage while laying on your stomach. Once belly starts growing and breasts become more tender, we can move to this pregnancy pillow. This pillow has holes for belly, breasts and face to rest in while laying face down. This allows the client to be in a comfortable position while the therapist has access to back, hips and legs.

Of course, the positioning clients during massage is never forced. If the client feels best laying on their side, that is how we will massage.

If we start laying one way and want to switch to a different position 5 minutes later, absolutely no problem at all! Comfortability is the top priority during massages!

Your massage is your time, you are basically just renting me for the desired time. So, whatever you want, I will accommodate! You are taking care of baby, so let me take care of you! You deserve it!

Carmen's Creative Journey (CCJ) will have journals and crafts for sale at Riverside Massage Therapy every other Saturday from 12pm-3pm. 10/25 until 12/20!

Holidays are around the corner! We are here to make it easy for you to shop and enjoy yourself while you are at it!

While CCJ is here, Devon will be offering a discount on chair massages! 15 minutes for only $15! (normal pricing is $25) No appointments. First come, first serve only!
