Grief doesn’t just touch your heart, it can ripple through your whole nervous system. Those waves of anxiety, the tight chest, the swirl of thoughts… it’s simply your body trying to make sense of a world that feels so different now.
If today feels tender, slow your breath, relax your shoulders, and remind yourself this is a human reaction. You are going to be okay, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Healing isn’t linear. It moves, it circles, it rises and settles. Find things to help release the physical pain of grief: shaking, dancing, crying, screaming (into a pillow), friendship, breathing. You are going to be okay.
