Intensive therapy sessions offer an alternative to the traditional once-a-week model. Instead of spreading the work out over time, they create a dedicated block—several hours or multiple days—to go deeper with more focus.
This approach can be helpful if you feel stuck in weekly therapy, are working through a specific issue, or want to make meaningful progress more quickly.
With more uninterrupted time, intensives allow for deeper exploration, stronger continuity, and space to integrate insights—rather than stopping just as things begin to open up.
Not the right fit for everyone, but a powerful option for those ready to engage more intentionally in their healing.
More to come soon.

In case you somehow dodged my January ‘I wrote a book’ era… here we are again 😂

The Heart of the Wounded Healer: Integrative Psychotherapy in Practice explores healing at the crossroads of psychology and spirituality. Drawing on integrative and depth psychology, trauma-informed practice, and time-honored healing traditions, Cynthia Ryan-Otto combines clinical insight, spiritual reflection, and lived experience.
Through the archetype of the Wounded Healer, readers are invited to explore how early relational trauma, attachment wounds, and soul-level injuries shape identity, connection, and purpose. This book speaks to those who sense their struggles are not random but part of a larger curriculum—one that cultivates wisdom, courage, and the capacity to heal.
Offering language, structure, and guidance for navigating healing as a psychological and spiritual journey, Ryan-Otto helps readers reclaim lost parts of the Self, make meaning from their experiences, and live with presence and intention.
Written for seekers, healers, and anyone on a path of transformation, this book is a steady companion — reminding us that “the wound is the place where the light enters you” — Rumi.
