I’m excited to share something new with you.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve started a podcast called Mindful Moments with Karen Hayden. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time, and I’m really enjoying the process of creating and sharing these short reflections and practices.
In each episode, I explore simple mindfulness themes that show up in everyday life—things like connection, overwhelm, thoughts, and now… joy. Each episode also includes a short, guided meditation so you can pause and practice along with me.
The newest episode is called “Is Joy Here Now?”
We often think joy comes from big moments or special experiences. But mindfulness invites us to notice that joy can also be quiet and simple, woven into the ordinary moments of our day.
At the same time, life can be complicated. Many of us are navigating worry, illness, or difficult emotions. In this episode, I talk about how joy can still exist alongside those experiences and guide a meditation exploring how we might gently notice moments of joy when they appear.
