We’re excited about the progress being made on our new Yates Center build! We’re pleased to share that site preparation is underway at the original location of Yates Center Health and Rehab. The site is being cleared for new construction, and we are committed to bringing a beautiful, modern new facility to the community—on the same ground where so many lives have been cared for over the years. We have an architect, and designs are underway. We’re aiming for late 2026 completion, depending on the permitting process.

Our team is working closely with architects, planners, and regulators to move the project forward, and we’ll continue to share updates as progress unfolds. We’re dedicated to establishing the new Yates Center, with a renewed commitment to serving the area based on the same high standards of care and quality that we brought to the original community.

Today, Administrator NiCole Splechter and Director of Nursing Meghan Douglas made a special trip to visit residents from Yates Center Health and Rehab at sister communities. They delivered thoughtful Easter baskets generously donated by the YCHS KAYS.

A heartfelt thank you to KAYS for helping to spread joy and kindness — the Yates Center community is simply the best!

A Visit of Support & Appreciation

Today, Senator Marshall honored his commitment to visit the residents and staff of Yates Center, despite recent events. In a true display of leadership and support, he met with many of our team members and residents to personally extend his appreciation for their courage during the evacuation and beyond.

UPDATE: Resident Safety Ensured Following Fire

We want to assure our Yates Center Health & Rehabilitation families and community that all residents and staff are safe following today’s fire. Thanks to the swift response of our team and local emergency personnel, all residents were safely evacuated and relocated to nearby accommodations. We are grateful for the incredible support from first responders and our community during this time. Presenting YCHR 2025 Valentine’s Day King 👑Galen and Queen 👑Cara.

Residents enjoyed a delicious Valentine’s Day meal, dessert, and decorations!

In the afternoon they all gathered to watch the crowning of our King and Queen with an ice cream social.

Shoutout to our AMAZING Dietary Staff and AWESOME Activities Department for the food, decorations, and festivities.
