As an enchantress and a symbol of the anima, she beckons us to embrace our instinctual nature and explore the depths of our psyche.

In the mythical tale of Melusine, she is born of King Elynas of Albany and a fairy mother, blessed with a dual form that reflects her human and serpentine nature. Upon marrying a nobleman, Melusine requests privacy during her weekly bath, a sacred ritual that symbolizes the hidden aspects of her being. When her husband breaches this boundary and discovers her serpentine form, their idyllic life is shattered, and Melusine undergoes a profound transformation, often taking the shape of a dragon or serpent before vanishing into the wilderness or the watery realms.

This story of betrayal and transformation is rich with symbolism, highlighting the resilience and strength of the sacred feminine.
