I am asking for your help to spread the word of prayer for my cousin Yaremis. Yaremis at young age of 36 went to the hospital back in July for a horrible pain in her leg and some numbness. She followed up with her primary doctor and the ER a few more times for the same reason. Concerned knowing something was wrong, she was told “it was just sciatica”. One day at home, Yaremis’ leg went completely numb and turned black. She called 911 and back to the hospital she went. Now unable to walk, she was brought by ambulance. She finally underwent testing and was told she had a blood clot in her leg and hip. She was also diagnosed for the first time ever with Factor V. An inherited mutation that causes a blood clotting disorder. After numerous attempts to save her leg, unfortunately they had to do a partial amputation. Lack of wound care while in the hospital caused a second amputation due to a bad infection. With the help of Yaremis’ sister Yaly Rivera and mother Ana Garcia by her side, she was transferred to another hospital for better care. Since her transfer, Yaremis has been diagnosed with COVID, pneumonia, has candidemia (a fungus in the blood that is life threatening) they found blood clots in both lungs and a large clot found in her heart. Yaremis’ husband Daniel Sr is on the verge of losing his job to be with her. She has a 17 year old autistic son Daniel Jr, and a 6 year old daughter Yarielis who she’s been asking to see for some time but, the hospital cannot allow. Just a few hours ago today Yaremis was transferred to the trauma ICU and tells her sister Yaly repeatedly, she does not think she is going to make it through this. With Yaly and mother Ana now by her side as well as her other siblings Yaritza, Allyna, Franshualiz, Kristina, Eileen Jessica , Junior , Reiluis & Brandon, her t**i Marianne and Abuela Dominga please help us pray for them to get through this devastating time. Let’s show Yaremis she is not alone and we are all here for her and her family! Be strong Yaremis, we are all here for you and believe you can get through this!! 🙏🏻
