Celebrating acceptance of neurodiversity!

The fact that bilingualism does NOT cause a language delay has been proven over and over again with extensive research! However, there are still many professionals that continue to spread misinformation. Just recently I was reminded of this when a client informed me they were told speaking Spanish to their toddler would “confuse them” and that they should “just speak English.”

These claims about language development are false and not evidence based. Please- speak to your babies in every language that you can! Continue to celebrate your culture and bilingualism. It’s a strength! 💜
