We officially closed on December 31, 2024, but if you are owed medication or were unable to pick up your filled prescription due to the holidays, please direct message me and we will ensure you receive your prescription.

All customers were notified of the store closing. The store's answering machine and front door also informed customers that we were no longer accepting prescriptions after a certain date; however, if you had a prescription filled prior to this date, we may be able to assist you.

Due to holiday travel, we understand you may have been surprised to find the store closed upon your return. Please direct message if you had a prescription filled and were waiting to collect it. To all valued customers who supported Merk Chemists, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude.

I also extend my appreciation to those who supported my small business ventures, Color Street and Easter Basket designs, during the store's operation. Although I was not employed by the pharmacy, I am an extended family member and the daughter of retired dentist Dr. Nyman.

As a continued advocate for small and local businesses, I acknowledge the challenges posed by the evolving business landscape. Currently, I am exploring affiliate marketing opportunities in e-commerce, acknowledging Amazon as a significant competitor often offering optimal deals.
