We have recently been honored with visits from our elected representatives: U.S. Congressman Rep. George Latimer, U.S. Congressman Rep. Mike Lawler, and New York State Senator Jamaal T. Bailey, and we are grateful for their interest and support of community health. We appreciated the opportunity to meet with them, share details about our health services and programs, and provide a firsthand look at our facility renovations currently underway.

A big thank you to Wegmans for their generous donation of food gift cards to Westchester Community Health Center! 🙏 These cards will directly support low-income patients managing hypertension and diabetes through WCHC's Food is Medicine Program, helping our patients access the healthy foods they need. Our partnership with Wegman’s helps to ensure that good nutrition isn't out of reach for those who need it most and we are grateful for their commitment to supporting our community's health.

This expert helps identify any developmental challenges your child may be experiencing and works with you to ensure your child has the resources they need for a lifetime of learning and growth.

Westchester Community Health Center operates two school-based health centers in Mount Vernon. While in school, your child can be seen by our medical professionals and get routine physicals, immunizations, lab tests, behavioral health counseling, care for ongoing illnesses or conditions, and more. Our school-based health care is currently available at Mount Vernon High School and Edward Williams Elementary School. Click on the link below to find out how it works.

Our behavioral health team offers compassionate, confidential counseling and treatment for individuals of all ages.
