Stop fearing the root canal!

At The Smilist, we know ""root canal"" is a phrase that makes many people nervous. But here’s the truth: Root canals don’t cause pain—they relieve it.

During Root Canal Awareness Month, we’re highlighting why this procedure is a tooth-saver:

Keep your natural smile: Nothing looks or functions quite like your original tooth.

Pain-free technology: Modern techniques mean the procedure is no more uncomfortable than getting a routine filling.

Prevents further infection: It stops the spread of bacteria and saves you from more costly extractions later.

Don’t let a toothache linger. Let’s get you back to smiling comfortably!

Meet the specialist behind your smile’s foundation.

We often focus on the "white" part of our smile, but the "pink" part is just as vital! At The Smilist, our Periodontists are the specialists dedicated to the foundation of your oral health: your gums and the bone that supports your teeth.

If you’ve ever wondered why someone might need to see a "gum specialist," it’s about more than just routine cleaning. Periodontists handle everything from treating advanced gum disease to placing dental implants and performing cosmetic gum contouring.

Signs it might be time to see a Periodontist:
🚩 Gums that are red, swollen, or bleed easily.
🚩 A "receding" gum line (teeth looking longer than they used to).
🚩 Persistent bad breath that won't go away.
🚩 Loose teeth or changes in how your bite feels.

Don't wait for discomfort to take action! Healthy gums are the key to keeping your natural teeth for a lifetime.

We’ve put together the ultimate Periodontist Guide to help you understand how these specialists protect your health. Click the link to learn more! Read the full guide here: 👉 https://nuvi.me/5pdody

Your natural teeth are worth saving! 🦷✨

May is , and we’re celebrating the specialized care that keeps your smile intact. Why choose to save a tooth?

Natural Feel: Nothing functions quite like your original tooth.

Bone Health: Keeping your root helps preserve the natural bone in your jaw.

Cost-Effective: Often, a root canal and crown are more affordable and require fewer visits than an extraction and implant.

If you’re experiencing tooth pain, don't wait! Modern endodontic treatments are virtually painless and designed to keep you smiling for a lifetime.

May the Fourth be with your smile!

Whether you're a Jedi Master or a Padawan, one thing is true across the galaxy: a healthy smile is your most powerful ally. At The Smilist, we’re on a mission to defend the universe from the Dark Side (of cavities and plaque!).

You don't need a lightsaber to keep your teeth "white-hot"—you just need a great routine and a team of experts who have mastered the ways of the dental Force.

Our Jedi Training for a 5-Star Smile:
✨ The Saber Scrub: Brush 2x a day to keep the Sith (sugar) at bay.
✨ The Thermal Detonator: Use mouthwash to blast away hidden germs.
✨ The Galactic Council: Visit your Smilist team twice a year for a wellness check!

Don’t let your oral health fall into a black hole. May the Force—and a bright smile—be with you today!

Are you Team Jedi 🟦 or Team Sith 🟥? Let us know your favorite Star Wars character in the comments! 👇

A smile should be beautiful.

But beauty alone
is not longevity.

Every bite carries force.
And force never disappears.

If it isn’t managed,
something eventually gives.

That’s why we focus
on how a smile functions,
not just how it looks.

Because true smile design
means creating something beautiful…
and built to last. ✨

Thinking about veneers or a smile makeover?
DM us “SMILE” to learn how we design for longevity.

It's not the wisdom tooth.
It's the fear.

Fear of losing control.
Fear of something going wrong.
Fear of the unknown.

That's why we use light oral sedation — not IV, not general. Just enough to quiet the anxiety.
Most patients fall asleep on their own.

Post-op, I hear the same words every time:
"That wasn't nearly as bad as I thought."

The real diagnosis was never the wisdom tooth.
It was the fear. 🤍

DM us if anxiety has kept you away.

Seamless care isn’t luck—it’s design.

Most clinics refer you out and hope everything lines up.
We chose a different path.

By bringing orthodontics in-house, every step—from Invisalign to implants—is planned together from day one. No back-and-forth. No repeating your story. Just one team, one plan, one vision.

Because when your care is aligned, your results are better.

Did you know that your hygienist does more than just polish your teeth? During your visit at The Smilist, they are:

Checking for signs of gum disease and oral cancer.
Removing plaque and tartar that brushing alone can’t reach.
Giving you the ""blueprint"" for a healthier smile at home.

A huge thank you to our team for keeping our patients’ oral health in tip-top shape. Is it time for your cleaning? Link in bio to book! 🗓️
