I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude lately — not as a feel-good exercise, but as something more precise. Almost like a pause in time. Medicine in 2025 is far from perfect. Systems are strained, people are tired, and trust has been shaken. And yet, when I step back and look honestly at what’s changing, I see real reasons to be grateful.
