For Lindsay Hanneman, the most rewarding part of being a nurse manager at Elizabeth Seton Children's Center is making a meaningful impact for our residents, their families and her colleagues. Sending a big congratulations to Elizabeth Seton Children's resident, International Spokesperson and Volunteer, Stephanie, for being honored as a 2025 New York State Senate Woman of Distinction by her friend and mentor Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins! 🌟 Stephanie was recognized for her powerful advocacy and unwavering determination, which is helping Elizabeth Seton Children's pioneer the first young adult center of its kind in the world. Her words say it best: "This award isn’t just recognition ... it’s motivation to keep going for young adults like me who need the Elizabeth Seton Children’s future young adult center as a home to call their own." We are beyond inspired by Stephanie - a true Woman of Distinction who is changing lives!

Happy ! We're feeling extra sweet today thanks to the incredible support of the Dunkin' Joy In Childhood Foundation who helped make Elizabeth Seton Children's Center's prom unforgettable yesterday! For Krystle Foti, RN, Director of Clinical Education, nearly a decade at Elizabeth Seton Children's Center has been a journey of growth, purpose and pride. "The supportive atmosphere allowed me to grow professionally and personally," she says. "While working as an evening educator, I was able to continue attending school and obtain my MSN. On May 1, 2025, Elizabeth Seton Children's hosted its 11th annual Cherish the Child fundraiser at the beautiful New York Athletic Club in Pelham. Enveloped by sunshine and the spirit of community, longtime supporters, new friends and our cherished sponsors, the Sisters of Charity, New York, came together for an afternoon of generosity and hope. We sipped tea, shared laughter and enjoyed a chic fashion show curated by our friends from LOLA New York - all brought to life under the inspiring leadership of Event Chair Shannon O’Neill Gallagher. One of the most powerful moments of the day came as Maura Gallucci courageously shared her daughter Olivia’s story to ground us in the purpose of our event: to raise critical funds for our future young adult center, which is breaking ground this summer!
