What is the Myopulse?

The Electro-Myopulse is the companion instrument to the Electro-Acuscope, working with direct access to soft and connective tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and periosteum).

The goal of the Myopulse is to normalize the electromagnetic field that surrounds soft tissue. It can aide in damage from chronic, overuse, or acute injuries.

With the biofeedback system, the instrument is able to adjust accordingly to normalize the electromagnetic field surrounding the soft tissue that may demonstrate atrophy or spasms. Normalizing the electromagnetic field around soft and connective tissue allows for relaxation, aides in restriction, and allows for circulation to take place naturally in previously decreased areas.

What is the Acuscope?

The Electro-Acuscope is an FDA approved microcurrent therapy to aide with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as non invasive pain management. When used properly, clinical studies show a 50% accelerated recovery rate.

The microcurrent used is equivalent to what the animal’s body generates naturally, so it is a level of the current the body can easily recognize, respond to efficiently, and replenish the natural current required for repair. This modality is able to truly relax and supple the animal’s body and tissue.

With its unique biofeedback system it is able to display real time digital feedback of the patient, separating it from other modalities. Every 5 milliseconds the computer is able to take input from the animal, and adjust the output to eliminate risk of overstimulation and ensure all patients get the unique input they need!

My particular instruments are animal calibrated, meaning they are made particularly for animal tissue. This allows results to be seen faster than if you were to use human calibrated equipment.

I am thrilled to announce that I am now officially an ATS Certified Equine Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse Therapist! This certification is following a 100+ hour training, and both a written and oral exam, to help allow me provide the best sessions for your horse with a customized approach to each individual horse.

I am thrilled to announce that I have completed my 100+ hour ATS Equine Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse training. This modality is FDA approved to aide in neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as non invasive pain management. The instruments I utilize are specifically animal calibrated, meaning they are preprogrammed for animal tissue to be more effective than utilizing a human calibrated instrument.
As soon as my instruments arrive and my examination process is done to become an ATS Certified Equine Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse Therapist I will be offering this modality with the ability to service all over Southern California! If you have any questions feel free to reach out, and I’d be happy to chat more about the benefits.
