Ever tried to walk in silence? Let's do it together for a good cause.
I'm hosting a slow quiet walk to the Yorba Linda redwood grove on Sunday, March 15th @ 10am. Anyone who is willing and able to observe silence during the 3/4 mile each way is welcome to participate.
If you would like to make an offering, I accept donations in the form of new in-the-box children's athletic shoes for the charity Shoes That Fit, or a check made out to the charity. Shoes That Fit was dear to my mother who passed in 2013.
Directions: Park near the north corner of Prospect Ave. and Wabash Ave. in Yorba Linda at the entrance to the Valley View Loop Trail. We will meet on the corner at 9:45am for a brief introduction, then begin the walk promptly at 10am.
Wear closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen. Bring water and something to sit on when we get into the trees.
