Just your friendly reminder to add some SELF LOVE into your day (especially with Valentines Day just around the corner!)
I used to think that self love & care meant spa days & bath bombs ๐... and while I still appreciate those things, Iโve discovered there are other, more significant ways to take care of my mind, body, & soul.
Your Self Care List: โค๏ธ
๐น Forgive yourself. You are human and will be making mistakes for the rest of your life. Itโs ok. Learn from yours, forgive others for theirs, and then move on.
๐น Stop comparing yourself (or what you have) to anyone else. All that does is rob you of whatever joy & appreciation you DESERVE to feel. Weโre all on our own path, and we donโt know what obstacles others may be facing.
๐น There is no such thing as perfection. And besides, perfect is boring. Accept your imperfections, learn to embrace them, because thatโs what makes you unique and different from everyone else.
๐น Keep your distance from negative energy. Negativity is contagious. Donโt let anyone take away your happiness or bring you down.
๐น Slow down. Breathe. Thereโs no rush. Just because this world moves at an intense pace, doesnโt mean you have to.
๐น Accept the things you cannot change. Fighting them is a waste of your energy.
๐น Its ok to not be OK. Youโll have good days and crappy days, and thatโs just the way it goes. Itโs ok to be down if thatโs how youโre feeling... let it run its course, and then let it go.
๐น You are loved. You are enough. Right now, right here, just the way you are. Stop hiding your magic from the world. ๐๐ผ โค๏ธ
