It's been quite a while.... so let me reintroduce myself and my amazing team!
Hi moms & dads!
👋I am Kylie, a Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Berry Sweet Therapy Services (previously Berry Sweet Speech and Language).
🚜I am the wife of a blueberry farmer & mother of two precious boys.👦👦
🫐 At Berry Sweet Therapy Services, we help children 18 months and older conquer their articulation, phonological, apraxia, fluency and/or social communication disorders. 🗣 We also treat adults that have suffered from a traumatic brain injury or stroke, resulting in cognitive deficits, word finding difficulties, and apraxia of speech. 🧠

🌟 We are now offering Occupational Therapy services. Occupational therapy doesn't just target Fine Motor Skills (i.e., handwriting, scissor use, manipulation of small objects, etc.)✂️ but can also target the following:
1️⃣Sensory Processing (i.e., sensitivity to lights/noises/textures, movement seeking, avoids movement, avoiding messy play/getting dirty, etc.)💡
2️⃣Self-Regulation (i.e., difficulty with transitions, difficulty calming down, emotional outbursts, etc.)😌
3️⃣ Self-Help Skills (i.e., dressing, toileting, managing buttons/zippers, washing hands/face, opening containers, feed self with utensils, brushing teeth/hair, etc.)👚🍴
4️⃣Executive Functioning (i.e., attention, organization, routines, following directions, etc.) 🎯
5️⃣Visual Motor/Visual Perceptual Skills (i.e., puzzles, difficulty writing or copying shapes/letters, etc.)🧩
6️⃣ Bilateral Coordination (i.e., using both hands together for tasks)✋️🤚

📨 We are in-network to accept Highmark, Capital Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Aetna insurances for speech.
