Try these fun hand-strengthening activities at home:
✂ Play with playdough
🧺 Use clothespins to pick up cotton balls
🧱 Build with LEGOs or blocks
🧽 Squeeze sponges during bath time

These activities build the muscles needed for writing and independence.

🫐Speech Tip Tuesday🫐

Did you know one of the best ways to help your child build language is simply by talking about what you're doing throughout the day?

Try this at home:
✔ Narrate routines: “I’m pouring the milk.”
✔ Expand what they are saying by adding one word": Child says “car,” you say “fast car!" or "blue car!”
✔ For older kids, ask open-ended questions: “What do you think will happen next?”

These small moments build big language skills.

✨ Speech and language grow best during everyday interactions!

🔆Summer is the perfect time to build confidence and love for reading. Berry Bright Readers Summer Camp helps children ages 4–5 learn letters, sounds, blending, and early reading skills through fun games, crafts, music, and stories! 📖

Wednesdays and Thursday from June 24 – July 23 (5 weeks, 10 classes)
