💛 Employee Recognition Celebration! 💛

Today, The Residence at Fitz Farm proudly celebrated our incredible team during our Employee Recognition Luncheon — honoring those who keep our community running strong each and every day. From housekeeping and maintenance to dining, nursing, activities, and operations — you are the heartbeat of our home.

For a community that’s only been open since the spring of 2023, it’s truly amazing to see how far we’ve come together. Today, we recognized 19 team members celebrating 2 years and 28 celebrating 1 year of dedication, compassion, and service.

Your hard work, kindness, and commitment make The Residence at Fitz Farm the warm, vibrant place our residents and families call home. 💛

🍂 Our Memory Care residents had a wonderful time creating a Fall Tree for our bulletin board! From crafting the tree trunk to decorating it with colorful leaves and flowers, everyone added their own special touch. It’s the perfect way to welcome the beauty of autumn into our neighborhood! 🍁🌻

🐾 Yesterday our community had the wonderful opportunity to support the York County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit while connecting with so many amazing York County community members! We even had a special visitor — Downtown from the York Revolution stopped by our table and tried to take over the show! ⚾💙🐶

We’re always proud to support our local heroes and be part of such a great community! 💛

Today, our Community Relations Director, Kayla, is proudly representing The Residence at Fitz Farm alongside the York/Adams Dementia Friendly Coalition at the York County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit Spaghetti Fundraiser! 💙

We’re honored to support this amazing event that benefits the hardworking K9s who serve and protect our community every day. From the silent auction and live entertainment to meeting all the incredible K9s — it’s a great day to come out and show your support! 👮‍♂️🐕

It may be fall now, but our Life Stories (memory care) residents are holding onto summer with a refreshing tropical fruit tasting! From the sweet burst of pineapple to the smooth taste of mango, it was not only delicious but also packed with amazing health benefits. 🥭🍌🍊

This activity was more than just a treat—it offered a wonderful sensory experience, sparking smiles, memories, and conversations. 💛

Because caring for the mind and body can be sweet, juicy, and full of flavor! 🌺✨
