ATTENTION ALL LOT OWNERS. All flags will be removed after Labor Day starting Saturday September 7th 2024. All decedents of veterans may remove the flag that was placed on Memorial Day on your loved ones grave and keep the flags if you wish to do so. This is in preparation for fall clean off. Please call the office with any questions. (717) 755-4828

O beautiful for spacious skies... Absolutely perfect weather all of this week to get the cemetery mowed and trimmed for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend! This is my 20th summer as caretaker of the Mt Zion Cemetery. Everyone have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day Holiday weekend and have a great summer of '23! ...from sea to shining sea.

Working to get the Mt. Zion Cemetery looking nice for the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Lots of rain and warm temperatures make it a nightmare sometimes just trying to keep up mowing. This view is from the northeast corner of Section B near the intersection of Mt Zion Road and Deininger Road. So, here's your annual public service announcement from me... If you visit a cemetery this holiday weekend (or anytime really) where your loved ones were interred and you see a cemetery worker there mowing or trimming grass, please stop and take the time to thank them for doing a great job caring for the cemetery. I guarantee that they would appreciate that very much. It takes a lot of man hours to keep a cemetery looking really nice every week from April through October. Everyone be safe this Memorial Day Holiday weekend and have a great summer of '22 🙂

A new monument arrived at Mt Zion Cemetery today. This one is absolutely beautiful. What they can do with image etching on monuments today is quite amazing.
