Today, Colonial House recognizes Black Balloon Day, a day dedicated to honoring the lives lost to overdose and raising awareness about the ongoing opioid epidemic.

Black balloons are displayed across communities today as a symbol of remembrance, grief, and hope. Each balloon represents a life that mattered — a son, daughter, parent, friend, or loved one whose absence is deeply felt.

At Colonial House, we stand with families, friends, and communities who have experienced this loss. We remain committed to supporting recovery, educating others about substance use disorders, and working toward a future where fewer lives are lost.

Today we remember.
Today we raise awareness.
Today we continue the fight for recovery and hope. 🖤🎈
