Not all law enforcement professionals work in visible roles. Some operate quietly, patiently, and with extraordinary focus, like Federal Agent Greg Squire, featured in the newly released BBC documentary The Darkest Web.
This powerful film shines a light on another critical mission in public safety: penetrating the most disturbing corners of the internet to identify and stop those who exploit and harm children. It’s meticulous, emotionally taxing work that rarely makes headlines, but it is essential in protecting the most vulnerable among us.
Just released on the BBC, The Darkest Web is heavy, intense, and at times difficult to watch. Yet it offers a rare and sobering look at the professionals who absorb exposure to humanity’s darkest material in order to prevent further harm to children.

Hypervigilance is not always about environment. It can be about people.

We can have a combination of both.
