White Oak of York is a 109 bed skilled nursing center located within driving distance of Piedmont Medical Center. We provide long term nursing care, short term rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation services in our state-of-the-art therapy gym. Nursing care is provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Our interdisciplinary team develops an appropriate plan of care for each individual in coordination with the physician’s orders. The service of White Oak of York is more than caring for immediate physical or medical needs. Through understanding, compassion, professionalism and respect, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual.

Our Grace Cottage Christmas Party at White Oak Manor of York was a beautiful celebration filled with sweet desserts, gorgeous poinsettias, and lots of holiday cheer. Special thanks to Leah, our Business Office Manager, for playing the piano and creating such a warm atmosphere. And a big thank you to our resident Mr. Robert and his granddaughter for performing “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” It truly made the day extra special.

White Oak Manor of York wants to give a sincere thank you to everyone who donated to our residents this Christmas. Thank you to churches, local businesses, families, and individuals in the community who called and asked how they could help, along with everyone who supported our Amazon registry. The outpouring of generosity was truly overwhelming. With Santa delivering gifts and our administrative team serving as his elves, every single resident received a gift and had an amazing Christmas. A huge thank-you to our wonderful neighbors across the street at Lifeway Church for bringing over your most precious members — the kids of Lifeway Church! 👧🧒

Our residents were absolutely thrilled to hand out candy and see all the fun costumes! Of course, they couldn’t resist sneaking a few pieces of candy for themselves too 😄.

A few days ago, we put a colorful twist on our celebrations! Over the past few months, we’ve been snapping selfies, capturing candid moments, and saving smiles from both our residents and our amazing staff.

For National Coloring Day, we tried something new. With a little help from technology, those photos were turned into personalized coloring pages.

The best part? Everyone got to color themselves! The room was full of laughter, creativity, and some truly one-of-a-kind masterpieces. 🖌✨

It was such a fun reminder that the simplest activities can bring the biggest joy. Here’s to making every celebration personal, meaningful, and full of color—no matter when we celebrate it. ❤️

🎉 Father’s Day Cookout Fun! 🍗🔥

Last week we fired up the grill to celebrate our amazing dads with a festive cookout featuring smoked turkey wings—some so big we’re calling them “Dino wings”! 😄 They were juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

While this day was all about honoring the fathers and father figures in our community, we want to give a special shout-out to our wonderful ladies who also joined the fun and enjoyed those mouthwatering turkey wings right alongside the gentlemen! Even though we didn’t catch them on camera, they were definitely part of the celebration and shared in the joy (and the food!).

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so memorable. Happy Father’s Day to all! 💙
