Excellent Dental Practice! - by M. M.
Because of recent dental insurance coverage changes made by my former dentist, I had to find a new practice after 33 years. Dr. Marhue was highly recommended by my periodontist; yet I was very concerned about maintaining the quality of expertise I had enjoyed over those years with my fabulous former dentist and his entire staff. I was also anxious about building new relationships with the York Family Dental personnel. From my first interactions to be established as a patient, I was very impressed. Rachel was fantastic in notifying me when cancellations arose. At my initial appointment, I was greeted warmly by Elisa, and promptly met Hannah, the hygienist, who escorted me to the treatment room. Hannah was excellent, and I immediately felt comfortable with her careful explanations of every step of my first visit. I was very impressed with the digital imaging that she accomplished, and felt that her skills in charting, and cleaning my teeth were exceptional. Hannah has great communication and interpersonal skills in addition to her technical skills. I felt relaxed and comfortable with the efficient and thorough cleaning she accomplished. The initial consultation with Dr. Marhue was likewise, very thorough and comfortable. He spent considerable time with me, examining and using the digital images to analyze my dental history, and communicate his impressions of my dental history and what I might expect in the future.
I left my first appointment, grateful that my transition to York Family Dental was such a positive experience. I feel strongly that I can trust this practice to provide the same excellent dental care that I have benefited from in the past.
