Each year, Campbell's hosts its “Days of Giving” campaign, designed to inspire employees to support local non-profit organizations in their communities and we were thrilled to be invited to attend their “Care Fair.” It was an awesome morning meeting new and friendly faces and sharing our mission with everyone. Tis the season to be grateful and we are grateful for our friends at Mia Bella Candles for their “Candle for a Cure” fundraiser. The sale raised $1,500 for Olivia’s House!!!! 🕯️ To top it off, the donation was delivered by an alumni family in memory of their daughter Carrie. This week, our amazing Little Ones families are coming to our York grief center for a night of ritual and celebration! Our newest inductees into the Olivia’s House Alumni family will be creating a handprint mural, placing their rocks in our Healing Garden of Hope, and of course we are loading them up with plenty of goodies to take home and continue their healing journey. We can’t wait to SEE everyone tonight!

“Edna” by Susan Paradis is a beautiful resource for children who have experienced something troubling or even traumatic in their lives. Edna the Elephant feels like her insides are tied up in knots, especially when she thinks about that bad thing that happened. With friends and coping, Edna learns ways to find calm and untie her knots, little by little.

The Grief and Loss Lending Library at Olivia’s House is a sight to behold! Each shelf is filled with the most unique, age-appropriate, and up-to-date resources, and it is our honor to share them with the community!

It’s time to rock around the Christmas tree!!!! 🎄 We are so excited to partner with Devon Ellis - State Farm Insurance Agent at Bright Nights York this year held at the York Revolution stadium. Bright Nights runs from now until December 28, every Thursday - Sunday from 5-9 p.m. There are a variety of activities held each weekend that you won't want to miss. To remember your special person this holiday season, try setting up a special “Memory Stocking” or decorative bowl in their honor! Invite your family to write down their memories as they come, and add them to the container. You can choose to read all of the memories at once, send them up to the sky in a paper lantern, or do whatever your heart feels is right!

We were honored to host students from Future Leaders of York (a program of Leadership York) last month during their site visit! One of our very own, Executive Director K.C., was a former FLY student, so this day is always very special. We spent the morning sharing our mission with the students and how Olivia’s House meets the needs of our community.
