💖 Sweet Hearts, Healthy Minds! 💖

Residents, staff, and family members were invited to send a cupcake and a carnation to a friend or neighbor for delivery! 🧁🌸 Today, we celebrated Valentine’s Day with the delivery of these sweet treats across Normandie Ridge.

With 196 sales in total—dozens more than in years past—we’re thrilled to share that $661 will be donated to our Brain Health program. 🧠💝

The Breakfast Club rolled into Red Lion for a delicious breakfast at a local favorite, Lion's Pride Restaurant, and, of course, we had to snap a picture with our brand-new bus logo.

We’re so grateful to our generous donor for making the new logos on our bus and three campus vehicles a reality. Thank you for your support! Because of you, we’re riding in style and easy to spot around town. Keep an eye out for the Normandie Ridge crew because we’re on the move!

Despite what the groundhog said, we’re already gearing up for spring, and enjoyed a truly heartwarming event yesterday. 🌱⚾

We welcomed guest speaker Andrew Lilley for a special screening of the award-winning documentary I’ll Knock a Homer for You, sharing the unforgettable true story of Babe Ruth’s promise to young Johnny Sylvester during the 1926 World Series.

Told from a unique family perspective, this uplifting film, and Andrew’s live Q&A, reminded us of the power of kindness, hope, and a promise kept. A beautiful afternoon full of history and heart. 💙

Today we had the joy of celebrating two very important residents with a joint birthday celebration filled with friends, neighbors, and loved ones. 💙

✨ Betty Petrick✨celebrated an incredible 102 years young, and ✨ Tedd Keefer✨rang in 81 wonderful years! The room was filled with laughter, stories, and delicious treats—cupcakes, ice cream, and plenty of birthday cheer! 🎂

Betty even hosted a Q&A, sharing life lessons, memories, and wisdom that inspired everyone in the room. 💛

It was a truly special day celebrating two remarkable lives together. 💐

We had a hoot making these snowy owl crafts with our skilled nursing center residents last week—and just in time for the snowstorm! ❄️🦉
So much creativity, laughter, and winter fun. These owls turned out owl-mazing💙

Last Friday, the Lunch Bunch took a little food adventure to East York and checked out The First Post—and it did not disappoint! 🙌🍽️

We even got to celebrate a birthday while we were there, which made the outing extra fun 🎉🥳

The Tree Family Party Piggies stopped by our memory care area today, and wow! Perry and Birch showed off some serious skills! From playing the piano🎹 to creating one-of-a-kind snout artwork 🎨, these piggies amazed everyone.

Residents and associates loved the cuddles, laughs, and carrot “piggy kisses” 🥕💋. What a fun and joyful day for all!

At Normandie Ridge, we are more than a community; we are home. A place where friendships are formed, stories are shared, and moments like these remind us how special it is to celebrate side by side. As we look ahead to 2026, we carry gratitude for the memories that have shaped us and excitement for all the new ones we will create together.
