🌸 Looking for a Gift That LASTS? Read This… 🌸

Back in February, I bought my wife a beautiful, colorful bouquet of roses for her birthday. Like all fresh flowers, they were stunning… but short-lived.

Then I met Brandy Smith from Forever Flowers and Gifts — and what she did was nothing short of incredible.

Brandy took photos of that exact bouquet 💐 and recreated it in stunning wooden flowers… preserving the beauty, the colors, and the meaning — but this time, it will last for years. No wilting. No maintenance. Just a lasting reminder of a special moment.

Here’s how Brandy describes her work:

“I create beautiful, long-lasting arrangements using wooden sola flowers, which means there is no maintenance and they last for years to come! I hand-paint or dye them to create a wide variety of colors! I design unique arrangements that are ready to purchase, and I also love bringing customers’ ideas to life through custom orders made just for them.”

If you’re thinking about Mother’s Day, an anniversary, a birthday, or any meaningful occasion, this is one of the most unique and thoughtful gifts you can give.

👉 Tell her Bruck Therapy sent you!

Trust me — this is not your average flower arrangement.

💥 STRAIGHTEN UP… AND FEEL THE DIFFERENCE 💥

If you’re dealing with poor posture, tightness in your back, or that constant “pulling” sensation along your spine… your paraspinal muscles are likely part of the problem.

These muscles run up and down your spine, working nonstop to hold you upright. But when they become tight or restricted, they can:
❌ Pull your posture out of alignment
❌ Create chronic back and neck pain
❌ Limit your mobility and flexibility

✨ Here’s the key: stretching these muscles properly can be a game changer.

But not just any stretch…

👉 The most effective myofascial release stretch is one that engages the entire line of fascia from the upper back ALL the way down to the tailbone.

When you create that full-length, sustained stretch, you’re not just loosening muscles—you’re releasing the entire fascial chain that’s been holding your body in dysfunction.

💡 This is exactly where Myofascial Release (MFR) stands apart.
At Bruck Therapy, MFR techniques:
✔️ Gently and safely lengthen the paraspinal muscles
✔️ Release deep fascial restrictions
✔️ Restore natural alignment and posture
✔️ Help your body move the way it was designed to

🗣️ Client Experience:
"I didn’t realize how much tension I was carrying in my back until it was gone. After my session, I felt taller, lighter, and completely relaxed. The stretch down to my tailbone was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced—it changed everything."

Your posture isn’t just about how you look—it directly impacts how you feel every single day.

🔥 Ready to stand taller, move better, and feel relief?

Here is another testimonial from a recent client:

“I’m a 46-year-old woman, and for the longest time I was dealing with a deep, nagging pain that started in my right butt cheek and ran all the way down to my heel. Some days it felt like a constant ache, and other days it was a sharp, burning pain that made it hard to sit, walk, or even sleep comfortably. I tried stretching, rest, and even other types of therapy, but nothing seemed to truly fix it.

Working with Kevin at Bruck Therapy Myofascial Release was completely different. From the very first session, I felt like he really listened and understood what I was going through. His approach was gentle but incredibly effective. He explained what he was doing and why, which made me feel comfortable and confident in the process.

After just a few sessions, I started noticing real changes. The pain that used to shoot down my leg began to ease, and over time it gradually disappeared. I honestly didn’t think that was possible after dealing with it for so long. Now I can go about my day without constantly thinking about my leg or bracing for pain.

I’m so grateful I found Kevin. If you’re dealing with persistent pain like I was, I can’t recommend him enough. It truly changed my quality of life”.

🌸 Hormones, Estrogen & Muscle Pain — What’s the Connection? 🌸

Many people are surprised to learn that hormonal changes—especially shifts in estrogen—can directly affect muscle health and pain levels. This is especially common during perimenopause, menopause, postpartum recovery, or other periods of hormonal imbalance.

👉 Here’s how estrogen influences your muscles and fascia:

• Supports muscle elasticity & hydration – Healthy estrogen levels help muscles and connective tissue stay supple. When levels drop, tissues can become tight, stiff, and restricted.
• Regulates inflammation & pain sensitivity – Lower estrogen can increase inflammation, making muscles feel achy, tender, or sore without obvious overuse.
• Aids muscle repair & recovery – Hormonal imbalance may slow healing, leading to lingering tension or repeated flare-ups.
• Affects the nervous system – Fluctuating hormones can trigger protective muscle guarding, especially in the neck, shoulders, hips, low back, and pelvic floor.

💡 How Myofascial Release Helps
Myofascial Release gently addresses the fascial system that surrounds and supports muscles. By reducing restrictions, improving circulation, and calming the nervous system, MFR can help counteract the muscular effects of hormonal imbalance—restoring comfort, mobility, and balance.

🎯 If your muscle pain doesn’t seem to match your activity level, your hormones may be part of the story—and your body may be asking for a different kind of care.

💪When Elbow or Wrist Pain Isn’t Really About the Elbow or Wrist… 💪

Have you been struggling with nagging nerve pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness in your elbow, forearm, or wrist?

You may have been told it’s “tennis elbow,” “carpal tunnel,” or just overuse…
But what if the true source is higher up?

👉 Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) occurs when nerves and blood vessels become compressed as they travel from the neck, through the shoulder, and into the arm. Tight muscles, fascial restrictions, and postural strain in the chest, neck, and shoulder region can create a “bottleneck” effect—irritating nerves long before they ever reach the elbow or wrist.

⚠️ This means:
Pain in your elbow or wrist may actually be referred nerve pain from the thoracic outlet.

💡 This is where Myofascial Release (MFR) can make a profound difference.

Rather than chasing symptoms at the elbow or wrist, MFR works to:
✔️ Gently release restrictions in the chest, neck, and shoulder
✔️ Decompress the thoracic outlet
✔️ Restore proper nerve glide and circulation
✔️ Address the root cause—not just the symptoms

The result? Reduced pain, improved function, and often… lasting relief.

✨ Client Experience ✨
“I came in thinking I had a stubborn elbow injury that just wouldn’t heal. I had numbness into my fingers, aching through my forearm, and nothing I tried seemed to work. After examining me, Kevin explained how everything was actually coming from tightness in my chest and shoulder area—Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The myofascial release work felt gentle but incredibly deep. By the third session, the tingling was almost gone, and now I’m back to using my arm normally without pain. I honestly couldn’t believe that fixing my shoulder and chest could completely change my elbow and wrist. This work is utterly incredible.”

🔹 Migraines: It’s Not Just “In Your Head” — There’s a Muscular Component 🔹

When most people think of migraine headaches, they think of neurological or vascular causes—and those absolutely play a role. But what’s often overlooked is the muscular and fascial tension that can significantly contribute to both the intensity and persistence of a migraine.

The muscles and fascia across the scalp, temples, and base of the skull can become tight, restricted, and dehydrated. Over time, this tension creates a constant pulling effect on the connective tissue surrounding the head—adding pressure, reducing circulation, and aggravating nerve sensitivity.

♦️ One Simple Technique You Can Try ♦️

Gently grasp small sections of your hair close to the scalp and apply a light, sustained pulling force upward—not sharp or quick, but slow and steady. Hold each area for 60–90 seconds.

This technique works by:
✔️ Creating a gentle stretch in the fascial layers of the scalp
✔️ Releasing tension in the small muscles on the top of the head
✔️ Improving local circulation
✔️ Reducing the compressive forces that can intensify migraine symptoms

Many people are surprised at how much relief this simple method can provide when done correctly and patiently.

🎯 How Myofascial Release Helps

At Bruck Therapy Myofascial Release, we take this concept much further—using sustained, hands-on techniques to release restrictions not only in the scalp, but throughout the neck, shoulders, and entire fascial system.

👉 Because migraines are rarely isolated to one spot, addressing the whole-body tension pattern is often the key to lasting relief.

If you’re tired of managing symptoms and ready to address one of the root causes, myofascial release may be exactly what your body needs.

🔹 Chronic Pain: It’s Not Always What You Think 🔹

Many people living with chronic pain are told it’s due to arthritis, aging, or “just something you have to live with.”

But in many cases, the real culprit is much more treatable…

👉 Muscular tension and fascial adhesions

Your body is wrapped in a continuous web of connective tissue called fascia. When this tissue becomes tight, restricted, or develops adhesions (areas where layers stick together), it can:

• Pull your body out of alignment
• Restrict movement and circulation
• Compress nerves and joints
• Create persistent pain patterns that don’t resolve on their own

Over time, these restrictions can lead to chronic discomfort in areas like the neck, shoulders, low back, hips, and even the jaw or pelvic region.

🔹 So how can Myofascial Release help? 🔹

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works directly with the fascial system to:

✔️ Release deep restrictions and adhesions
✔️ Restore natural movement and alignment
✔️ Reduce pressure on nerves and joints
✔️ Improve circulation and healing
✔️ Address the root cause of pain—not just the symptoms

Unlike traditional massage, MFR uses sustained pressure and time to allow the fascia to soften and unwind—creating lasting change in the body.

💬 “I had been dealing with chronic shoulder and neck pain for years. After visiting Bruck Therapy, I could feel my body finally letting go of the tension—and the pain started disappearing.”

You don’t have to accept chronic pain as your normal.
Your body is designed to heal when given the right conditions.

🔹 What Happens to Your Muscles in a Cast? 🔹

When a limb is placed in a cast after a fracture, healing the bone is only part of the story…

👉 The surrounding muscles begin to shut down from disuse.

This process—called disuse atrophy—can begin in as little as a few days:
• Muscle fibers shrink and weaken
• Fascia tightens and loses elasticity
• Circulation and lymphatic flow decrease
• Joint mobility becomes restricted

By the time the cast comes off, many people notice:
❗ Stiffness
❗ Weakness
❗ Poor coordination
❗ Lingering pain or pulling sensations

And here’s the part most people aren’t told…

👉 The fascia (connective tissue) surrounding those muscles often becomes restricted and adhered, limiting proper recovery—even if you’re doing exercises.

🔹 How Myofascial Release Can Help 🔹

Myofascial Release (MFR) works directly with the body’s connective tissue to:

✔ Gently stretch and rehydrate restricted fascia
✔ Restore proper muscle function and firing patterns
✔ Improve circulation to promote healing
✔ Reduce pain and stiffness
✔ Help regain natural movement and mobility

Rather than forcing movement, MFR allows your body to unwind and recover at a deeper level, creating lasting change.

💬 “After my cast came off, my arm felt stiff and weak. Physical Therapy helped, but it wasn’t until I had myofascial release that everything started to feel normal again.”

If you’ve recently had a cast removed—or still don’t feel “right” after healing—your body may need more than exercise alone.

🔹 Golf Swing Pain? It’s Not Just Your Technique… 🔹

If you’re a golfer dealing with tightness, reduced power, or nagging pain after a round, the issue often isn’t your swing mechanics alone…

👉 It’s what’s happening within your muscles and fascia.

🏌️‍♂️ The Major Muscles Behind Your Golf Swing

A powerful, fluid swing depends on coordinated movement through multiple muscle groups:

• Core muscles (abdominals & obliques) – Generate rotation and power
• Glutes – Provide stability and drive through the swing
• Hip flexors & hamstrings – Control balance and weight transfer
• Shoulders (rotator cuff & deltoids) – Guide the club path
• Forearms & wrists – Control grip and clubface precision
• Lower back muscles – Support rotation and posture

👉 A golf swing is a full-body movement, not just arms and shoulders.

⚠️ What Happens When These Muscles Get Tight?

When fascial restrictions develop, they begin to limit motion and create compensation patterns.

This can lead to:
• Loss of rotation and reduced swing power
• Poor follow-through and inconsistent contact
• Tightness in the hips and low back
• Shoulder strain or elbow pain (“golfer’s elbow”)
• Increased risk of injury over time

👉 Tight fascia doesn’t just restrict movement—it alters mechanics.

🙌 How Myofascial Release Can Help

At Bruck Therapy, we don’t just chase the pain—we address the source of restriction.

Myofascial Release works to:
• Gently release tight, restricted fascia
• Restore full-body mobility and rotation
• Improve balance, posture, and swing efficiency
• Reduce strain on joints and muscles
• Help you generate more power with less effort

👉 When your body moves freely, your swing becomes more natural, consistent, and pain-free.

04/22/2026

🔹 Shin Splints: Why That Lower Leg Pain Keeps Coming Back 🔹

If you’ve ever felt aching, tightness, or even sharp pain along the front or inside of your lower leg—especially during or after activity—you may have been told you have shin splints.

But here’s what most people aren’t told…

👉 Shin splints are rarely just a “bone problem.”

🔍 What Are Shin Splints?

“Shin splints” is a general term used to describe pain along the tibia (shin bone).

This pain is often the result of excessive tension and pulling where muscles and fascia attach to the bone—not just inflammation.

⚠️ What Causes Shin Splints?

In my experience, the real issue is usually fascial restriction and tension throughout the lower body.

Common contributing factors include:
• Tight calves (gastrocnemius & soleus)
• Overworked anterior tibialis (front of the shin)
• Restricted fascia in the feet and arches
• Limited ankle mobility
• Tension patterns from the knees, hips, and even the low back

👉 Remember: The body works as a connected system.
Tension in one area often creates stress somewhere else.

❗ Why Traditional Treatments Fall Short

Most conventional approaches focus on:
• Rest
• Ice
• Anti-inflammatories
• Orthotics

While these may provide temporary relief, they often don’t address the underlying cause—the tension within the fascial system.

🙌 How Myofascial Release Helps

At Bruck Therapy, we take a different approach.

👉 Myofascial Release works to:
• Gently release tight, restricted fascia
• Reduce the constant pulling on the shin bone
• Improve circulation and tissue mobility
• Restore proper biomechanics from the feet up through the hips

This isn’t about masking symptoms—it’s about resolving the source of the problem.

🔹 Heat or Ice? Knowing When to Use Each Can Make All the Difference 🔹

One of the most common questions I hear from clients is:
👉 “Should I use heat or ice for this?”

The answer isn’t always as simple as you might think—but there are some reliable rules-of-thumb that can help guide you.

❄️ When to Use ICE (Cold Therapy)

Use ice when you’re dealing with inflammation, swelling, or a recent injury.

✔️ Best for:
• New injuries (within the first 24–72 hours)
• Swelling or inflammation
• Sharp, hot, or throbbing pain
• Sprains, strains, or flare-ups

🔹Ice helps constrict blood vessels, reducing inflammation and numbing irritated tissues.

🔥 When to Use HEAT (Heat Therapy)

Use heat when you’re dealing with tightness, stiffness, or chronic discomfort.

✔️ Best for:
• Long-standing muscle tension
• Stiff joints or restricted movement
• Chronic low back, neck, or shoulder tightness
• Areas that feel “tight” but not swollen

♦️ Heat helps increase circulation, relax tissues, and improve mobility.

⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Using heat on a fresh injury (can increase swelling)
• Using ice on chronic tightness (can make tissues more rigid)
• Applying either for too long (10–20 minutes is usually sufficient)
• Treating only the symptom—not the underlying cause

💡 The Bigger Picture

While heat and ice can provide temporary relief, they don’t address the deeper issue…

👉 Fascial restrictions are often the real reason pain and tightness keep coming back.

Through Myofascial Release, we work to:
• Gently release restricted fascia
• Reduce pressure on muscles and joints
• Restore proper movement and alignment
• Address the source of the problem—not just the symptoms

💬 Client Experience
“I used ice and heat for years just trying to manage the pain. After a few sessions with Kevin, I finally understood what was really causing it—and now I don’t need either nearly as much.”

🔹 Low Back Compression: The Hidden Source of Pain, Stiffness & Nerve Symptoms 🔹

Many people think of low back pain as a “disc issue” or simply part of getting older.
But what I see every day in my practice tells a very different story…

👉 Much of the discomfort in the lower back is the result of compression within the lumbar spine—often driven by tight, restricted fascia.

🔍 What Does Lumbar Compression Feel Like?

When the structures of the low back are under constant pressure, it can lead to:

• Chronic low back pain and stiffness
• Sciatic symptoms (pain, tingling, or numbness down the leg)
• Disc bulges or herniations
• Reduced mobility and difficulty standing upright
• Muscle spasms that seem to “come out of nowhere”
• Hip tightness and pelvic imbalance

👉 Over time, this compression doesn’t just stay in the back…
It begins to affect how your entire body moves and functions.

🧠 What Causes This Compression?

The lumbar spine doesn’t compress on its own.

It is pulled into compression by tension in surrounding structures, including:

• Tight fascia in the lower back and abdomen
• Restricted hip flexors and pelvic tissues
• Scar tissue from surgeries or injuries
• Prolonged sitting and forward posture
• Chronic guarding patterns from old pain

♦️ Think of it like a constant downward pressure…
Your spine is being pulled together instead of supported and free.

🙌 How Myofascial Release Helps

This is where myofascial release (MFR) becomes incredibly effective.

Rather than forcing movement or masking symptoms, MFR works by:

✔️ Gently releasing fascial restrictions
✔️ Reducing abnormal tension pulling on the spine
✔️ Allowing the lumbar vertebrae to naturally decompress
✔️ Restoring fluid movement and alignment
✔️ Improving nerve function by relieving pressure

👉 The result is not just pain relief…
It’s a feeling of space, freedom, and ease in your body again.

“I didn’t realize how compressed my lower back felt until it finally released. After a few sessions, I could stand straighter, move easier, and the pain down my leg was gone. It felt like my spine could finally breathe again.”

🌿 A Different Approach to Healing

Your body is not meant to live in a constant state of compression.

When the pressure is gently released…
👉 Pain decreases
👉 Movement improves
👉 Healing begins
