Today we celebrate the heart and inspiration behind Jessica & Friends Community, our beautiful Jessica! 💛

If you know Jessica, you know her joy is contagious… especially when there’s music playing or she’s out on a car ride, feeling “Happy & Clappy!” 🚗👏🎵 Her life is a gift, and the light she brings to everyone around her is something truly special.

🎉 Meet John Sawbo Sawbo 🎉

For almost two years, John has been an incredible part of our Jessica & Friends family—and what a blessing he is! 💙

Originally from Liberia, John made his way through Philadelphia before landing in York in 2022—and we’re so thankful God brought him to us. From the moment he interviewed, he could feel it: this isn’t just a job, it’s a family rooted in strong Christian values. And John jumped right in with his whole heart!

He loves working with the guys he supports and truly embraces the daily adventure they bring. Each personality, each need—it keeps him growing, learning, and showing up with patience, joy, and compassion every single day. He’ll tell you himself—he learns just as much from them as they do from him! 🙌

When he’s not at work, John is all about family. A proud dad of four, he treasures time with his kids—whether it’s bike rides with his son 🚲 or soaking up summer days by the pool. And if there’s a Philly game on, you can bet he’s cheering on his teams loud and proud! 🏈⚾

John, your heart, your energy, and your love for this community do not go unnoticed. We are SO grateful for you and the light you bring to Jessica & Friends every day! ✨

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! ☘️

Our friends down the isle at Pathway Person-Centered Program Hanover were feelin’ extra lucky today—sure they had a grand ol’ time celebratin’ St. Paddy’s Day in true Irish fashion! There was laughin’, carryin’ on, and just a wee bit of mischief… as it should be.

And would ya believe it? A few of the luckiest lads and lasses even got their hands on some shamrock shakes—now that’s what we call the luck o’ the Irish! 🍀🥤

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

As the world begins turning green again, we’re reminded that spring is just around the corner — a beautiful season of renewal, growth, and fresh beginnings. God has a wonderful way of bringing new life after every long winter.

There’s a story often shared about St. Patrick that says he used the simple three-leaf clover to explain the Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three parts, yet one. It’s a small reminder that sometimes God uses the simplest things in nature to show us His love and truth.

Today we celebrate the joy of community, the promise of new beginnings, and the many blessings God places in our lives every day.

May your day be filled with a little Irish cheer, a lot of gratitude, and the fresh hope that comes with spring. 🌱🍀

💪✨ Look out world… we’ve got a gym girl in the house!

One of our dear friends Nan in our Home & Community program hit the gym at Hanover Area YMCA Littlestown and LOVED every minute of it! From cycling to laughing, she was feeling strong, confident, and maybe just a little unstoppable. 🏋️‍♀️😄

Susan is a beautiful part of our Pathway Person-Centered Program York and brings so much joy wherever she goes. She is known for her sweet spirit, her deep love for her friends, and her gift for storytelling — you never know what wonderful tale she’ll share next!

If you know Susan, you know she has a heart for prayer. She is always ready to lift up the people and things she loves, and that kind of faith is truly special. 💛🙏

Susan loves going on vacation, is an excellent dancer, and we are so proud to have her as one of our newest Hosanna Ringers! 🎶
