First Capital EMS is currently hiring for all positions! Go to our website at www.firstcapitalems.org/careers and fill out our job interest form if you want to join our team. We are an independent and busy 911 system, running up to 20,000 calls across 7 municipalities! Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, EMS related class tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off program, and a simple IRA are all available.

Salary based on experience. Base rates for brand new clinicians are as follows:
EMT: $17/hr.
AEMT: $20/hr.
Paramedic: $23/hr.

Solid work on a very difficult day!

EMT Pierce Franklin and paramedic Dan Medford of First Capital EMS responded to a deadly ambush on law enforcement officers in York County on Sept. 17, where five officers were gunned down while serving an arrest warrant.
