💙 Meet the Carpenter family! 💙
Troy and Christine Carpenter would say "maybe someday" when it came to expanding their family. When Christmas 2022 came around, they knew that "someday" was here.

After becoming certified treatment foster parents, they received a phone call—not about one child, but three.

In our Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) Program, youth with serious behavior concerns are placed in a highly-structured home with specially trained treatment parents, like Ian and Koren Blythe, who provide stability, supervision and positive discipline.

Thanks to WGAL News Channel 8 Susquehanna Valley, Pa. for spotlighting this important program through the perspectives of the Blythes, Keshawn, Allie, Nyla and Program Supervisor Abby Chan.

Right now, about 15,000 children are in temporary foster care in Pennsylvania. Pressley Ridge is a foster care agency in York and Lancaster. It offers traditional foster care as well as a community based residential care program. The specialized program helps care for at risk youth.

York CRR program partnered with Mission Central in the past year and has received several generous donations from them. This past month, we received 50 large hardshell Samsonite suitcases, new in box. (Some of these suitcases were shared with our Lancaster office and some are being distributed to other PA offices (wherever the need presents). Thank you Mission Central!
