There are still 5 classes left to drop into with Nicky at Sattva.

Iyengar Yoga is rooted in precision. Alignment, sequencing, timing, and the intelligent use of props. Every posture is taught with clear instruction in both Sanskrit and English, and Nicky offers individual corrections and modifications so every student is met exactly where they are.

Register to drop-in and join any Saturday morning at 10:30am from now through June 6th for $28 a class via the scheduler link in our bio.

Note: There is no class on Saturday 5/23. Instead, a make-up class will be held Thursday 5/21 from 5:30–7 PM.

Start your Qigong practice with Tammy Bray at Sattva this Spring 🌷

If you have been looking for qigong training, this is your opportunity to take the 2-part class series that opens the door for you.

Wondering “What is Qigong?”
Qigong literally means "life energy cultivation." It is a holistic system of coordinated
body posture and movement, breathing and meditation used for the purposes of Whole
well-being of mind, body and spirit.

Qigong is a gentle, slow-movement practice intended for us to enter a more natural "flow state". It is an ancient practice used for thousands of years to open and expand awareness, increase energy, and awaken and enhance the natural energy system as a whole. This practice offers us the intention to slow down in order to notice and feel into our bodies and energies to find a connection to more optimal health and living.

Visit our website to learn more about the Qigong membership and join us Sunday, May 10th for a glimpse into regular practice by joining our Qigong Meditation class.

Feeling the draw of practice in York, PA?

Join Megan for this 4-week Ashtanga Yoga foundation course. The 8 classes have been curated specifically for people who are feeling stiff, overwhelmed, out of routine, or simply ready for something more grounded. You don’t need experience or flexibility. You just need a willingness to begin.

Over four weeks, you’ll learn how to breathe in a steady, calming way, how to support your body with strength instead of force, and how to focus your mind so you feel less scattered.

This class occurs Tuesdays and Thursdays in May from 7:30am-8:30am. Each week follows a simple rhythm:

- Tuesdays (Guided Class): Learn step-by-step with Megan leading you through breathwork, a short talk on yoga philosophy, and a led Ashtanga practice so you understand what you’re doing and why
- Thursdays (Mysore Style): Practice at your own pace in a quiet room while Megan works with you one-on-one—helping you build confidence, refine your movements, and make the practice your own

This is for you if you’re new to yoga, feeling disconnected from your body, or burned out from doing too much, too fast. It’s for anyone who wants strength, flexibility, and calm without pressure.

There’s a moment in Varanasi where everything gets quiet inside, even when the city is loud. The Ganges moves. The fire lamps float. And something in you remembers what you came here for. 🧘‍♀️

Sattva’s founder, Megan, has stood on that riverbank. She’s felt it. And next February, she’s going back and bringing a small group of seekers with her.

We’re talking sunrise at the Taj Mahal (before the crowds arrive), morning Ashtanga practice in Rishikesh where yoga was born. A boat on the Ganges at dawn, watching the ghats come alive with ritual and prayer. Meditation inside Vashishtha’s cave, where a sage is believed to have sat in stillness for lifetimes. Evening Aarti in Varanasi — fire, chant, river, and something that moves through your chest and doesn’t leave.

⏳ Early Bird rate is available until May 1st ($3,800/person)

📆 February 15–25, 2027 (11 days and 10 nights)

Looking for a place to meditate in York, PA?

Come to Sattva every first Saturday of the month for a space to ground your mind and body. Sri HWL Poonja once said that “Meditation is when the mind is free and not holding thoughts. Let the thoughts come and go but do not run after them.”

Each session is intended to bring you out of your thoughts and into yourself, whether through use of breath, mantra, simple guidance, or silence.

No experience is required. Come as you are, and be ready to look within. Visit the scheduler link in our bio to register for this class.

Starting May 5th, this 4-week Ashtanga Yoga foundation course is built for real people—people who feel stiff, overwhelmed, out of routine, or simply ready for something more grounded. You don’t need experience or flexibility. You just need a willingness to begin.

Over four weeks, you’ll learn how to breathe in a steady, calming way, how to support your body with strength instead of force, and how to focus your mind so you feel less scattered. This is not about keeping up—it’s about learning how to practice in a way that actually works for you.

Each week follows a simple rhythm:

- Tuesdays (Guided Class): Learn step-by-step with Megan leading you through breathwork, a short talk on yoga philosophy, and an in depth physical yoga practice so you understand what you’re doing and why

Sliding scale pricing is available for those that demonstrate financial need and are serious about learning the Ashtanga method from Megan.
