We kicked off the Christmas season with a bang. We had sticky buns for breakfast club, made some Christmas lights to hang. That was all before Wednesday when the residents and employees decorated pretty much the entire building in one day :) Then today Laurel Court joined us to be serenaded with Christmas songs by William Penn High School.

Today we hosted the first annual Thanksgiving Social. This event was created for the residents to host their families in their home and to give residents a chance to celebrate 'friendsgiving' with their friends who live here as well. We are thankful for the families that came.

The best part was when residents reserved a seat at their family table for a friend that wasn't able to have family come. 🙂

Each month we hold a three round bean bag toss tournament. The crowd is almost as big as the bingo crew. The fun we have in that hour and a half three Mondays out of the mouth is unmatched. Help me in congratulating this young lady for getting the win this month.

Fridays are made for FUN. Today was nothing but fun. Started the morning with our neighbors in Laurel Court and then games between residents and employees for hallway takeover. Then we figured out how to fill the activities room, Memory Music with Tom and Randi LaNasa were the perfect way to end this near perfect day.

We are honored to be able to celebrate the Veterans that we serve. The families of the Vets are invited. There is no reservation needed. Even if you only can stop by for a few moments. The coffee, cake, and conversation will be ready for you.

When you try new things, you get new results. Today we had Ron and Crystal Bolton here with Night Wonders of Astronomy. Not only are they a pleasure but it was just what was needed to spice things up a bit.

Another successful breakfast club in the books. Success for an activity could be the amount of people, the smiles and laughs, the quality of food or even the conversation. We checked all the boxes with bagels from Panera Bread and cream cheeses galore.
