Minnich's Pharmacy

Minnich's Pharmacy Local, employee owned community and longterm care pharmacy Is anything more important than your family’s health? We don’t think so either.

Since 1946, Minnich’s Pharmacy has been a Health Advocate for the families and residents of York County. Today, we continue to keep York County healthy, but with fresh new faces, a new look and a new approach. With over 25 years of combined service with Minnich’s Pharmacy, Scott Miller and Deron Shultz were both born and raised in York County. Scott and Deron have been working closely together ever since they met on their first day of pharmacy school at the University of Pittsburgh. Minnich’s has been employee owned since 1990 and has been the ideal proving grounds for us to hone our skills and prepare ourselves for our current roles in the company. Filling your prescriptions is only the beginning of what we offer at Minnich’s. One of our unique services is that we offer free delivery to homes & businesses to most of York County. We want customers to feel like they can talk to us about any of their health concerns. We understand the continual need for growth in areas of technology and professional expertise in order to meet the changing needs of our customers. Our focus has and always will be to put the best interest of our patients first. This is an advantage we have as a small local business compared to large pharmacy chains. We are your health advocates. As your health advocates, we are able to offer yearly flu shots, as well as a large selection of other vaccinations to help keep you and your family healthy. We always have a pharmacist on hand to handle everything from in-depth medication reviews to medication therapy management to drug compliance packaging. Our long term care pharmacy is qualified to service nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We can handle your prescriptions, Medicare billing, diabetes testing supplies, ostomy products, canes and walkers, compression therapy and wound care. We are committed to making York County a healthy place, and we look forward to seeing you at Minnich’s Pharmacy.

Simply put, early detection saves lives. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate for breast cancer is 99%. But what is early detection? Early detection means finding breast cancer at an early stage, before it has a chance to spread and is easier to treat.

This free guide outlines screenings for 10 women’s health conditions, including breast and colorectal cancers, osteoporosis, & more.

Everyone wants to know what they can do to lower their breast cancer risk. Although doctors don’t know what causes breast cancer, they do know there are factors linked to a higher-than-average risk of developing the disease. Some factors associated with an increase in breast cancer risk — being a woman, your age, and your genetics, for example — can't be changed. Other factors — lack of exercise, smoking cigarettes, and eating certain foods — can be altered by making lifestyle choices.

By choosing the healthiest lifestyle options possible, you can empower yourself and make sure your breast cancer risk is as low as possible.
