We’re Affordable Housing Advocates, or AHA for short. We got our start in 1971, when a small group of people in York came together around a simple truth, that housing is essential. It was true then, and it’s even more urgent now, with more people searching for affordable housing than ever before.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of lives and communities by advocating for, creating, and sustaining affordable housing options.

We envision a York where safe, affordable homes aren’t the exception, but the standard. Where compassion, care, and community guide the way we live together. Where resources are stewarded wisely, and everyone has the chance to put down roots and build a future.

This work has been our heartbeat for over five decades, and still is today.

Your school has a team of people who are all invested in your child’s wellbeing. Meet with your child's healthcare provider and create your diabetes management plan, which you can provide to the school and share it with all parties that work with your children. These include your child’s teacher 👩🏼‍🏫, school nurse 🩺, their PE staff and coaches 🏀, Office personnel 📎, bus drivers 🚌 and cafeteria workers 🍔
