Hello everyone. I am working a lot with victims of sexual assault but do not let that deter you from linking up with me. I do some form of EMDR every week and it is so transformational.

Areas that I am working on with folk are codependency, substance abuse recovery, phobias, car crashes, pet loss, loved one loss.

Insurances that I take are Capital Blue Plans PPO, Highmark PPO, and CareFirst PPO. If you are unsure, please call the member services number on the back of your card and ask if I am in network with them.

Do you have a specific phobia or fear that prevents you from enjoying your life to the fullest?

If you answered yes, I may be able to help with Flash EMDR created by Phil Mansfield.

Some of the phobias Flash EMDR has had success with are: being in confined spaces, going over bridges, clowns/face covering, specific bugs, emetophobia, acrophobia/ fear of heights, dentophobia/fear of going to the dentist, glossophobia/fear of public speaking.

Flash EMDR uses slower bilateral stimulation and visualization of a calming and or funny memory. Often, when clients use a funny memory the laughing in session is contagious.

If you find it difficult to sustain attention on the memory you want choose, it’s ok. We’ll get there, it’s my job to help you.

It is official. I will be transitioning my private practice to 17 E Market Street Suite 107. The building is located across from the old courthouse and in between the Gettle/ Vaughn law firm and the M&T bank. Parking is metered on the street and there is a parking garage on the same block. I will begin seeing clients at this location September 1st.

Cross Posted: My private practice is relocating to a much smaller space. I have been located at 805 S George Street for a little over 9 years.

While I loved my space, rising costs made it difficult to stay.

I’m planning on signing a lease at the York Hive office downtown for a September 1 start date.

So, just because you don’t see my sign when you are traveling from the hospital to downtown, I’m still in business. I will provide the specifics once it is official.

I’m still in the business of healing and I look forward to serving you.♥️

I have been seeing a lot of people for single incident traumas. Such as car crashes. EMDR and or Flash EMDR work so well with these types of traumas.

I am doing more work with the State. They have a funding program for victims of sexual assault.

The qualifications for this funding are:

While in Pennsylvania, a person experienced a sexual assault. There are no time limits meaning if the assault happened 50 years ago, you may be eligible for this funding.

You don't need to go into detail about the assault or abuse unless you are planning to have your perpetrator prosecuted. This is a separate program.

(Some may have been assaulted by a stranger) so it is helpful but not always known.

You do not have to or have reported the incident to authorities

They will ask if you have been already compensated for the incident. (this may or may not affect eligibility.)

The claimant must mail a copy of the completed form (with the name and address of your therapist) to the state

Once received and reviewed, someone from state will go over the eligibility criteria with you

If accepted, you will be sent a form with a case number and this form will also be sent to your identified therapist.

This funding is open to people of all ages.

Although CareFirst is a Maryland based insurance, many of their members reside In Pennsylvania.

However, I currently cannot take CareFirst clients who “live” in Maryland.

Due to an increase in demand, I have decided to apply for licensure in Maryland to meet this need.

Please be patient as I navigate this process.
