Use a simple calendar, or create a paper chain to visually count down the days until Christmas or special event. This creates more predictability and helps manage waiting!

🍪Holiday Baking
It's never too early to begin the holiday baking! This is great for fine motor skills, sequencing, identifying shapes, and following step-by-step directions! Allow your child to measure, dump, and mix ingredients. 💡Keep it simple by using playdough-like cookie cut-outs, treats requiring fewer ingredients, or decorating pre-made gingerbreads!

Many art, science, and other kid-friendly museums offer unique opportunities to practice a variety of skills!

🎨Communication: Have your child practice identifying big vs little, short vs tall, bright vs dark, or labeling various shapes and colors!
