As the Safe Kids PA State Office Coordinator, Jessica works to foster strong collaborative relationships, coordinate resource development and distribution, and provide support and technical assistance to all of our local groups across the Commonwealth that work to prevent unintentional childhood injuries.

We're fortunate to have Dr. Goodstein, director of York County Cribs for Kids, and members of the City of York - Bureau of Health provide their expert guidance in coalition efforts to promote safe sleep!

At WellSpan, we’re here to help keep our communities safe and healthy.

As we recognize SIDS Awareness Month, Dr. Michael Goodstein, a neonatologist at WellSpan York Hospital and national expert on SIDS, joined the City of York for a press conference to share tips on how to help decrease an infant’s risk of SIDS.

WellSpan is proud to promote safe sleep, and to work with families to help prevent this tragedy. Practice the ABCs of safe sleep, making sure babies are:

• ALONE.
• On their BACKS.
• Sleeping in a CRIB.
• Not exposed to SMOKING.

We’re proud to have been a part of this great collaboration to keep kids safe on every ride for the past 27 years!

For 27 years, Safe Kids Worldwide, GM, and Chevrolet have worked together to keep kids safe in and around cars, reaching nearly 30 million parents and caregivers, hosting 2.45 million seat checks, donating 800,000 car seats, and creating resources like the Ultimate Car Seat Guide.

The car seat check scheduled for Thursday in Etters is CANCELLED, as it conflicts with the funeral for the three fallen detectives from the Northern York County Regional Police Department. Our hearts go our to their families, friends and coworkers. We also extend best wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded - including our coalition's devoted member, Lt. David Godfrey, with York County, PA Sheriff's Office
