It’s National Assisted Living Week! This year we are following the theme of skills building by having a different lesson each day. We kicked it off with a lesson in one of our resident’s favorite pastimes: belly dancing! Residents had fun getting into the spirit with belly dancing skirts and bracelets and learning the hip bump and snake arms!

We had an amazing day on our trip to the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden! 🎋🖼️ We viewed their new exhibit “You Think That’s Funny? Humor In Contemporary Art” and learned about the history of the museum on a private tour before exploring the garden on our own. We even had a picnic on their patio and basked in the beautiful day!☀️
