The City of Norfolk has activated its Winter Overflow Warning (WOW) Emergency Homeless Shelter Plan through Wednesday, Jan. 21 to help protect our neighbors during this extreme cold.
🏘️ Winter Overflow Overnight Shelters
📍 Jan. 15–17: Tabernacle Church (7000 Granby St.)
📍 Jan. 18-21: St. Mary's Basilica (232 Chapel St.)
🍽️ Day Services & Meals - Available 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at The Center (1050 Tidewater Dr.)
⚠️ Emergency Overflow shelters and services are for Norfolk residents only and may be extended depending on weather conditions.
