Since we’re now coming into our Earth Element transitional time before we start our summer Heart Element, where we get to come into full bloom, I thought we’d take a moment to acknowledge the worry and anxiety that’s so prevalent around us right now. We cannot control most of it, okay-99% of it, so it’s important to take time to replenish ourselves. When did you last do something to make yourself happy-bring you joy in your day? If you find yourself giving the excuse that you don’t have the time or there are others, maybe family members or work pressure, that are demanding of every minute of the day-go to my Conversations with Catharine on my website to see how you can optimally plan. You need to be included in your day because if you don’t replenish yourself and your energy, you will have nothing left to give anyone else that’s actually healthy. So, give yourself permission to do something for yourself. Say ‘no’ to an extra demand that’s on your ‘plate’, take a walk in the park, play a game, have a glass of your favorite beverage while you watch the sunset, take 5 minutes to read a favorite book, the possibilities are endless. No matter what you choose, you are building your own health and grounding, which not only makes you less reactive to situations going on around you, but also sends a great example to your family, coworkers and others around you and we are ALL important. So how have you given yourself permission to be happy or joyful today?
